I’ve been waiting for spring to come because last spring ended. I utilized to become a winter girl to the core, but ever since last summer, I somehow morphed into a dress-wearing, flats-loving, sunglass-wearing, sunroof open 24/7, hate-all-things-cold type of gal. And, finally, spring is officially underway and I am all set to pack away my heavy sweaters and boots so I can begin running close to town within the best new trends of spring.

As usual, you will find about a bazillion trends that come using the warmer months this kind of as safari and florals, but stick with me and I’ll get you via the months searching good without having to invest your college fund.

I’m already overwhelmed with all of the new choices of dresses out there, but you can be rest assured they’re all fantastic — and inexpensive. The only problem is each store available thinks we all have the bank accounts of “The Actual Housewives of Orange County.” I cannot get over the $130 Armani Exchange floral dresses let alone American Eagle’s $45 dresses.

Save your money

Thanks to Target, I don’t have to invest a fortune. Target just came out with their new spring dresses for only $20. The little collection of V-neck, a-line dresses hit right on the knee to get a summery appear. The dress also comes in a ton of colors from teal, black and white polka-dot and pink floral, just to name a few.

To stay on trend this spring, adhere to in Kim Kardashian’s footsteps and consider a chance with ruffles. Look into American Eagle’s Boho Dress for $34.50. It has a sexy crocheted racer back along with a subtle eyelet ruffle at the hem. It is this kind of a playful dress that also enhances a little bustline with the assist of a deep V-neck. Wear it over a swim suit or throw a denim jacket more than it and you’ll be summer-ready.

Essential wear

Shoes are important to any wardrobe and instead of wearing those immature colorful foam ones from Old Navy, try acting your age inside a nice pair of sandals from Target or Payless. The time when we were freshmen in high school is long gone. Appear into Payless’ brown Tanner Huarache Sandal on sale for $19.99, or check out Kmart’s birdcage heel for $19.99. Both are the perfect shoe for this summer and are meant to go with anything. Have you observed the new ads for American Eagle and Coach? The models are putting on shoes exactly like these. Not to mention the shoe is inspired by designers such as Loewe and Chloe. A lot more costly take about the shoe would be Coach’s birdcage heel that’s going for almost $200. The price tag seems a little steep to get a girl on a budget.

As for handbags, I’m seeing more and more designers push fringe in our faces. But let’s be honest, no one in suburbia wears fringe. It appears to me it’s a trend that only took off using the Hollywood crowd and art students. So even though fringe finds are cool, you do not need to become putting on it to be stylish. It’s totally fashion forward if you want to stick together with your Longchamp or Vera Bradley bag for summer and for that rest from the year.

But if you’re up for a brand new bag, attempt something with an animal print, particularly zebra. Leave the leopard print for fall accessories. Anyknockoff.com has a zebra tote for $30 that’s just like Hilary Duff’s $3,395 zebra bag from Jimmy Choo.

All you really need to know for spring and summer is to take risks with ruffles and animal print pieces. You can find denim jackets all more than the globe, sunglasses are a dime a dozen at Walmart, and when it comes to make-up, remember to keep it light and fresh for the day. Summer is all about having enjoyable, so have enjoyable with your style and enjoy the sun.
