Independent styles designer Nathan Hurst has an method to life that’s much more like a leap at it. “I tend to throw myself into elements regardless of whether I know what I’m doing or not. It’s chaotic but you wind up which includes a definitely fascinating product,” states Hurst, 23.
Under eight months right after his first fashion present, Hurst, from New Richmond, is lining up a week of nearby activities, starting currently, featuring designers who have dressed the likes of Alicia Keys and Fergie, studied with icons like Betsey Johnson and have studios all-around the planet.
Cincinnati Fashion Week, currently by means of Saturday, will contain runway shows from 16 designers and specific buying occasions at hot spots, boutiques and studios close to Greater Cincinnati.
The roster focuses on up-and-coming young designers, Hurst states, supplemented by experienced designers including David Meister, who has dressed celebs as well as Tina Fey, Elizabeth Hurley and Sharon Stone.

Just last year, the self-taught designer was a nursing student at Cincinnati State, but his passion for style – at 15, he filled a sketch pad with dress designs, and at 17, he got his initial sewing machine which he applied to make hoodies as well as other apparel for his dogs – kept tugging him in a various direction.
“In the back of my mind, I think this can be what I always wanted to complete,” Hurst alleges.

“It’s not been completed in this location to this degree. As artists, they’re excited to have this platform inside Midwest exactly where they are able to showcase their work,” Hurst states.
